Del Camino has had an wild career with his drumming and
he did share it with the band. He has several months left on his
contract with his previous employer. There, he signed several fancy
documents ranging from non disclosures to non competes. Fortunately,
Del's twin brother is finishing his tour so the guys with the sunglasses
don't even know he's gone!
Interesting story on Del's name.
Del's father was a car designer and had all his logo work done to
introduce the "Del Camino." Del was just a young fella and had the bad
habit of drumming on everything. He bashed the impressions for the logo
insignia knocking off the D on Del. No one noticed this until many
thousands of "El Camino" insignias were produced. Del's father, on a
deadline said - "go with it."
