Doc Roccolla, or Doc Roc as we call him, is the latest addition to Hot Wax. Doc plays the trumpet and the Flugal Horn. Originally from Chicago, Doc was actually one of the Blues Brothers Band members. But, in the early stages of rehearsal, Doc and John Belushi had a falling out. So, Doc packed up his family and moved to the Bluegrass State of Kentucky where he still resides today. Doc has many interests and talents besides music. He actually built his own house out of scrap pewter, which he had been saving for years. Doc has recorded with many famous artists in show business. If you look real close, you can see Doc in the ship's band on episode 35 of the Love Boat. Needless to say, Hot Wax is looking forward to Doc's contribution to the group. We are all now saving our scrap pewter!
